Application: ERP system producing shop floor process dockets
Issue: Printed process sheets for tanning and other chemical treatments on the production floor were being misinterpreted by the work force who had limited English. The result was wrongly processed batches of leather that had to be expensively scrapped
Solution: Spinner was used to interrogate the process instructions print stream and alter the document layout at print time adding colour coding to match each process. Each shop floor process station had a matching colour code thus eliminating the erroneous processing.
