Malcolm Mitchell
Qualified as a Production Engineer with British Aerospace and first became involved with computers in 1966 for flight
testing and production control. This was followed by IT system development and management roles with Smith Industries
and George Wimpey Construction. In 1979 joined Hewlett-Packard as a system salesman progressing to sales management
encompassing geographic sales teams and UK oil industry. In 1987 took an equity stake in a PC reseller with the role
of Operations and Marketing Director. In 1991 initiated a management buyout of the software side of SMM Communications
and formed SMM Software to develop and market intelligent document processing solutions.
Julian Stone
With an outstanding track record of successes over the last 20 years within the software applications and ERP
marketplace, Julian brings significant experience to SMM Software and is responsible for our sales and business
development strategy.
In the past Julian has held a number of senior business development and consultancy roles with companies including Epicor , Microsoft, IBM and OTR plc. Most recently Julian held the role of Group Sales & Marketing Director for the Miracle Group.
